A Few Things We Should Keep in Mind While Celebrating Our Independence...

As we set off fireworks and celebrate this very important holiday with family and friends, let's try and remember what United States citizens celebrated on the very first anniversary of our beloved country. Let's reflect on the things that our founders appreciated, but Hillary Clinton probably never will.

This country was founded as a republic, a limited government for the people. The idea of a limited government was to protect the people and keep the government out of our lives. Citizens were to be held responsible for their actions, we relied on personal responsibility instead of relying on the government for our personal needs. At this time, no one is held accountable for their actions, someone else is always at fault. And it is the governments job to fix it. This is the mindset that Hillary embraces. In her mind, we should bulk up the government to coddle our citizens, and even those who aren't citizens. Clinton is spitting in the face of our heroic founders with her disrespect for their core beliefs.

Those who have fought for our freedom and in our defense--defense of our country and our beliefs--fight for what we are, what we have been, and what we hope to always be. I am afraid to see where a socialist will steer our country. Today, ignore the flaws and appreciate freedom, accomplishment, responsibility, and pride.
