Did She Really Claim That African Americans Were the "Heart and Soul" of Her Campaing?

Sen. Clinton has made it a point to involve different races in the management of her campaign, this motive seems fairly obvious to me, not so much mindless drones in the far-left field. In the attempt to gain votes she wants to seem like she cares about all types of people. She said however, "I want to have as inclusive and diverse a campaign as I can because that's the way I want to govern. We just want to do things right." Perhaps, if she just wants "to do things right" she should surround herself with the most qualified people, and describe them as such. It seems extremely inappropriate to me that she feels the need to tell America that she is tolerant enough to hire a racially diverse staff. If she was racist, she probably wouldn't have gotten where she is, but I suppose Sen. Robert Byrd has proved that theory wrong.

With how hard she is trying to win over the races, I fear that we could end up paying reparations. Former White House political advisor, Minyon Moore said, "Senator Clinton has always championed issues that impact people of color in general and African Americans in particular." This quote describes her tendencies. I want my president to care about all United States citizens, regardless of their race or social status. This description of Hillary Clinton tells me nothing more than "I just want your vote....and yours....and yours.....and yours." The sooner people realize she doesn't care about them, the better. She will crush our country with her socialist agenda, and step on the backs of minorities, lower income families, military families (I could go on and on) to get there.

Florida Endorsements roll in....or not.

"I have not endorsed Senator Clinton for President. Therefore the Hillary for President Campaign is not authorized to use my name, image, or this incorrect news report in any of your campaign literature or promotional material.'' -Rep. Kendrick Meek, http://www.miamiherald.com/416/story/133763.html

This was written in a letter sent to the Clinton campaign after they had announced that they would release another "major Florida endorsement" in a conference call Thursday afternoon. This call was cancelled, and in my opinion, the Clinton camp probably heaved a great sigh of dismay and gave each other worried looks about losing a semi-prominent African-American endorsement. Boo-hoo.

A Democrat from Florida who did endorse Clinton, Alcee Hastings said, "When we elect the next President Clinton, this country will be a much better place for the African-American community." Well, evidently not all seem to agree. Maybe there are still plenty of us who remember when Bill Clinton showed how great of an advocate for African-Americans he was when he wore that terrible afro-wig on Martha's Vineyard in 1997. http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=1962
