The Clinton camp has been using Bill sparingly, but plans on steadily increasing his appearances, or should I said performances, for wife Hillary. Former President Clinton will be joining his "life-partner" on high-profile visits to Iowa and New Hampshire in coming months to help boost her ratings. Recent polls "show the New York senator in a tough fight with Obama and John Edwards."
Evidently the Obama camp plans on making Hillary's husband an issue by criticizing his friendship with Ron Burkle as well as his "$300,000 speaking fees from Cisco, a company that has moved U.S. jobs to India." This is very generous of the Obama camp as they could very easily attack the Clintons' character instead, and probably move more voters than this soft-ball ball will. http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/politics/20070621-0736-thebillfactor.html
From a conservative point of view, which is obviously not what Hillary is interested in, Bill is a terrible pawn. Our country still has a sour taste from his term, and with any luck will retain that sour taste until the end of time. I guess Hillary's cronies are just hoping that the progressives and centrists they are targeting with Slick Willy's moves have forgotten his follies as president, and as an ungrateful citizen of this great country.
